Some may be a little surprised I have been "blogging" about fishing much here on this blog site... since that's what I do for a living. I posted a fishing report last month, one that I did for OzarkAnglers.Com and for our resort site, LilleysLanding.Com which I try to do each week but I decided I didn't want to just copy and paste the report. Too much repetition.
Writing reports is easy. Writing reports that are informative and current is easy. Writing reports that vary each week is difficult simply because if conditions don't change, neither does how we catch trout on Taneycomo. And after writing reports almost each week for the last 16 years, finding new ways to write about the same thing is almost impossible. That's why I post fish pictures! Now you know one of my secrets.
So I'm saving this blog for special fishing trips, thoughts about the reason we fish and how fishing is much more to me that just wetting a line and luring fish to bite. But I'll have to warn you... blogging takes a back seat to the stack of stuff on my desk. Don't hold your breath between editions.
